- Volunteering
There are many ways you can volunteer at Beyond Shelter - Australia from assisting with pre-school children through to high school students that need help with all manner of things from how to use computers to homework. They may need just to talk to someone . Same thing goes for young adults. We also need help to train the wage earner of the family to obtain work and this work ranges from job skills to mentoring. Imagine that Beyond Shelter - Australia volunteers are part of the extended family for many of those who are enrolled in our programme.
We have a wide range of activities covering everything from A to Z in social welfare, office administration, accounting, desk-top publishing and printing, architectural design and CAD drawing, engineering, all building trades [painting, plastering, carpentering, cabinet making, glazing, roof, granolithic work], landscaping, gardening etc.
You name it and Beyond Shelter - Australia will have a job for you.
Please note RECORDS ARE KEPT JUST LIKE A REAL JOB and just like a real job we give references should you be seeking paid employment
Also you may qualify for FREE EXTRA TRAINING. Of course working with others is always beneficial as you can learn so much but from time to time special training programmes become available. Make sure you apply for any such courses.
